Artist's Comments
Another cartoon, this time of legendary punk rock singer Joey Ramone. The Ramones were undoubtlessly one of the most kickass acts in rock history, with all that raw power that brought down the art rock pretentiousness, and Joey's anti-virtuoso voice played a big part in that energy. This crummy ink spot is my humble homage.
PS: I got confused while drawing this and gave him Johnny's hairstyle. But I think the point of them dressing the same was that so I guess it's OK. |
